The Lonoke Legacy: American Aquaculture and the History of Conservation

Right down the road from us here at Dandelion Roots sits the Joe Hogan State Fish Hatchery in Lonoke, the largest state-owned, public warm-water pond hatchery in the whole country. Almost a hundred years old, it's stocked lakes all across Arkansas with over 370 million fish, and honestly, most families drive right past it without ever knowing what it means. We wanted to change that, so we built a whole hands-on course around it.
