KiwiCo: Astronaut Starter Kit, Solar System & Shuttle Launch (Ages 5+)

Build a miniature spinning solar system and launch two model spacecraft with an air-powered pump. KiwiCo’s Astronaut Starter Kit combines model assembly, painting, and space-science reading so learners can explore planetary orbits and the work of astronauts through a hands-on project.

What learners build and explore

• Spinning solar system: Assemble and paint model planets, then rotate the model to explore how planets orbit the sun.
• Spacecraft launch: Build two model spacecraft and use the pump-powered launcher to investigate how air can create motion.
• Space exploration: Read about astronaut training, space travel, and life on the International Space Station in the included guide.
