2 Hands-On Robotics Kits: Domino Machine & Jumping Robot
Engineer a wiggle-eyed robot that lays dominoes
What could be cooler than building a domino run? How about a friendly, wiggle-eyed robot that sets up your dominoes for you? Engineer your very own dazzling domino machine, use it to lay out a variety of daring domino runs designed by you!
Build a spring-powered jumping robot that hops
Assemble a spring-powered mechanism, experiment with the design to customize its jumps and appearance. Along the way, learn how the physics of potential and kinetic energy work to put the spring in your robot's step.
Double the fun - Build together. Play together.
The perfect pair for two! Kids can enjoy separate projects at the same time or build together for even more creative and collaborative play.
- THE ULTIMATE ENGINEERING DUO: Get two hands-on building projects in one bundle — engineer a wiggle-eyed domino robot that lays out domino runs all by itself, then build a spring-powered jumping robot that you can customize to hop, hop, hop. Two builds, twice the fun, and a whole lot of real-world science in between.
- REAL-WORLD SCIENCE: From the potential and kinetic energy that launches your jumping robot into the air to the chain reactions and exponential energy transfer behind every domino run, these two projects pack serious physics into seriously fun builds.
- BUILD-IT-YOURSELF — DOMINO MACHINE: Assemble your very own domino-laying robot from scratch using an illustrated blueprint and step-by-step online video tutorial — then design and set up your own daring domino runs using the 100 included wood dominoes.
- BUILD-IT-YOURSELF — JUMPING ROBOT: Construct the cams, hook up the spring-powered mechanism, then customize your robot's look using the premade exterior or your own designs. Set it on a flat surface, flip the switch, and watch it leap.
- EDUCATIONAL: Explore chain reactions, exponential growth, and the science of energy transfer — then switch gears and experiment with how cams extend and release a spring to send your robot airborne. Change the build, change the jump.
- TESTED BY KIDS, TRUSTED BY PARENTS: For over 10 years, KiwiCo has delivered engaging, hands-on projects designed to spark the next generation of innovators. With over 50 million products delivered worldwide, KiwiCo knows what kids love.
