Why We Started Our Sourcing Service
We started Dandelion Roots because we know firsthand how overwhelming it can be to build a homeschool curriculum from scratch. The resources are out there — but finding quality, trustworthy materials that meet state ESA and EFA program requirements? That’s a whole other challenge.
That’s why we built our personal product sourcing service. It’s simple: if you’re looking for something specific — a particular science kit, a hands-on math manipulative, a book series your child fell in love with at the library — you can submit a request directly to us.
How It Works
- Submit your request via our Request a Product page
- We research availability, pricing, and sourcing options
- If we can add it to our catalog, we’ll notify you when it’s live and ready to order
- All sourced materials go through our standard ESA/EFA compliance inspection before shipment
What Kinds of Things Can You Request?
Curriculum materials, manipulatives, science kits, books, games, posters, art supplies — if it supports learning, we want to carry it. We’ve sourced everything from physics lab kits and biology dissection sets to ASVAB prep books and coloring world maps.
We recently had a Dandelion Roots family reach out with a detailed list of materials for five kids across multiple grade levels and subjects. Within days, those products were live in our store, ESA/EFA compliant, and ready to order. That’s the Dandelion Roots difference.
